Explore the world of anthotype, a 19th century eco-friendly photographic printing method that renders images in a range of pastel or vibrant colors with amazingly romantic results. Alongside professor and professional Anne Eder, learn about the anthotype process and gather plant materials and extract plant juices to make emulsions and coat papers for printing. Then, learn how to work with both transparencies and objects or plants. You’ll then try your own hand at creating anthotype prints, which you’ll take home in an envelope to finish developing, and then display!
