Delivering a fun, highly interactive experience for all, Grammy Award-winner Dan Zanes and Haitian-American jazz vocalist and music therapist Claudia Zanes team up with singer Tyree Austin to create a sensory-friendly inclusive experience.
During this social music celebration, the sounds of 12-string guitar, flute, trombone, saxophone, beatboxing, and percussion blend together to support and uplift the main event: vocal harmonies. Enjoy old and new songs from Dan + Claudia’s Smithsonian Folkways records as well as beloved classics from the Dan Zanes and Friends deep catalog. To Dan + Claudia Zanes, their sensory-friendly performance is a way of saying “come as you are, we’re all in this together.” Whether it’s singing along, dancing, or just letting the music relax the mind, when Dan + Claudia and Tyree perform, there’s something for everyone.
Dan Zanes—vocals, guitar, mandolin, harmonica, percussion, jawharp
