You have beautiful blossoms before you . . . now what? In this engaging course, students are given the same floral and vegetative materials and tasked to create their own floral masterpiece. Expert designer Roseann Christian will demonstrate a few techniques and then coach you through the design process. Expand your floral toolbox as you work with a variety of hardgoods and accents provided by Longwood Gardens. Each student will be given a vessel, chicken wire, and assortment of other floral accents. All you will need are your floral tools and a strong imagination! At the end of the session students can share their designs and inspiration.
The course also includes three-month access to the recording of the presentation.
This course counts as an elective in Longwood’s Floral Design Certificate program.
