Begin with an online orientation that covers fundamentals of lighting, composition, and styling, followed by an onsite shoot where you’ll photograph carefully prepared dishes and drinks. Afterward, students receive an online review of their images with personalized feedback to refine technique and style.

Monica Herndon is an Emmy Award-winning photojournalist at The Philadelphia Inquirer. She works in a hybrid role, contributing to both still and video coverage on stories across the newsroom. Herndon is also an FAA certified commercial drone pilot.
