Learn the fundamentals of portrait photography by experimenting with lighting, posing, and beautiful botanical scenery. Then, work with fellow photography enthusiasts to make fun, impactful portraits in the Gardens—be ready to take portraits and have your portrait taken. Any camera is welcome, from smartphone to professional.

Becca Mathias is a Wilmington, Delaware-based photographer specializing in portraits, weddings, and gardens. Her work focuses on telling real stories, finding beauty in everyday moments, and showing the unique personality of every person and place she photographs. She is particularly drawn to the magic of natural light and loves creating a relaxed atmosphere where her subjects can truly be themselves.
