Quickly growing, Kala‘e + Kalena unites Kala‘e Parish, a multi Nā Hōkū Hanohano Award-winning Hawaiian country artist, with Kalenaku “Kalena” DeLima Parish, Kapena group keyboardist and vocalist and multi-award winner. Together since 2018, they’ve captivated audiences worldwide with their irresistible energy and charm, as well as their sublime harmonies, beautifully complementary vocals, and treasure trove of original compositions. Quickly growing in the esteem of their Hawai‘i peers, they have won two Nā Hōkū Hanohano Awards as a duo. In 2025, Kala‘e took home four Nā Hōkū Hanohano Awards from his solo album (which features Kalena), including Album of the Year and the highly prized Male Vocalist of the Year. In the last year alone, they have opened for country music stars Morgan Wade, Brett Young, and Gary Levox of Rascal Flatts.

Kala‘e Parish (guitar and vocals) has been a professional musician and entertainer since 2013, performing throughout the islands and abroad. He continues to write, compose, and release music about his Island home inspired by the beautiful countryside and ranching culture of Hawai‘i.

Kalenaku “Kalena” DeLima Parish (vocals, keyboards, piano) has been the keyboardist and vocalist in the group Kapena since 2006. Classically trained in piano and voice, she held the lead female vocalist role in Disney Aulani’s nighttime show “Aulani Starlit Hui” since the opening of the hotel in 2011. She grew up in the Hawai‘i music scene, singing Hawaiian music and playing ukulele with her father in Waikiki, and released her first Island Reggae single entitled Hideaway in 2010.
