Slow down, breathe deep, and let lavender do the rest.
Join Joanne Soeckler of Mt. Airy Lavender Farm and flower designer Amy Saha for a soothing, hands-on workshop that blends creativity with calm. In this immersive experience, learn how to craft a beautiful lavender wand—a traditional, fragrant keepsake to take home and enjoy long after the class ends.
As you create, explore the wellness benefits of lavender, from its calming effects on the nervous system to its role in stress relief, sleep support, and everyday self-care. Settle into the gentle aroma, connect with the plant’s history and healing properties, and leave feeling grounded, refreshed, and inspired. Perfect for anyone looking to relax, learn, and bring a bit of lavender’s magic into daily life.

Joanne Soeckler & Amy Saha
After spending five years living in Belgium, Joanne Soeckler and her husband Jeff moved back to her family farm in Chester County, Pennsylvania. Wanting to bring a little piece of European life back to her home in the US, she began to turn her family's horse farm into fragrant fields of Lavender. As a board member of the US Lavender Growers Association, she is dedicated to supporting fellow small business owners and entrepreneurs, helping them start and grow their own ventures.
Amy Saha is the creative sister and certified flower designer. Her attention to detail and artistic eye shine thorough in her beautiful flower arrangements, bouquets and all those extra touches that make her wedding floral designs and events so special. When not taking classes at Longwood Gardens or camping out in the greenhouse, she is tending her horses, dogs, and cats. Her dream is to have a fully stocked petting zoo.
