Join us for a hands-on bonsai adventure! Designed just for ages 9–14, this workshop invites you into the amazing world of bonsai—miniature trees with big personality.

Explore the new Bonsai Courtyard, check out some incredible trees up close, and learn cool tips and tricks from bonsai expert Jim Doyle. Then it’s your turn! In the hands-on session, you’ll get to trim, shape, and pot your very own dwarf Ficus tree to take home and grow. Whether you're totally new to plants or already obsessed with them, this workshop is fun, creative, and perfect for all skill levels. All materials are included—just bring your curiosity!  

Capacity is limited. Fee includes all-day admission to the Gardens on the day of the program and a guest pass for an adult to enjoy the Gardens during the youth workshop.
