Grab your camera and get outside! Capture the shades of summer in the Gardens while learning the key elements of digital photography. Gain an understanding of depth of field, angles, perspective, and exposure while shooting along Flower Garden Walk, and at our Canopy Cathedral Treehouse, Italian Water Garden, and Large Lake.
Suitable for all experience levels, our photography sessions include a recorded introductory session; three-hour, hands-on program in the Gardens; and a live online workshop (via Zoom) that same day, focused on learning digital manipulation and editing techniques for captured images. Students are encouraged to bring their own digital cameras; point-and-shoot digital cameras will also be available onsite.
For ages 13-17.
Looking to build your portfolio and explore different areas of the Gardens as you learn new skills? Consider signing up for multiple Garden Photography sessions.
