Break free from the expected and discover new ways of seeing through your lens. In this hands-on photography workshop, explore a variety of creative in-camera techniques that transform ordinary scenes into extraordinary works of art—no computer editing required.
Guided by a professional photographer, experiment with intentional camera movement, zoom effects, multiple exposures, panoramic image creation, and creative lens modifications using everyday materials such as bubble wrap, translucent fabrics, and cling wrap. You'll also explore artistic camera settings such as black-and-white, sepia, and other creative modes available on your camera.
Set against the inspiring backdrop of the Gardens, this workshop encourages curiosity, play, and creative risk-taking as you learn to see familiar landscapes, flowers, and architectural details in entirely new ways. Whether you're looking to expand your photographic abilities, overcome a creative rut, or simply have fun experimenting with your camera, you'll leave with a collection of imaginative images and fresh creative inspiration.
Suitable for photographers of all experience levels using mirrorless or DSLR cameras with manual controls. Come ready to experiment, explore, and discover the unexpected.
