Explore two distinct approaches to installation work as you create both hanging compositions and freestanding designs using traditional and sustainable mechanics. Gain insight into how each method shapes the creative process, influences design possibilities, and affects the final result. With a focus on seasonality, explore locally sourced blooms and foliage to celebrate what’s growing in our region and the importance of supporting local farms and growers.

Beyond construction, this class guides you on how to start planning large-scale design. Learn how to thoughtfully plan an installation, from concept development and color storytelling to intentional flower selection. Develop floral “recipes” and choose mechanics that support your vision and strategy before the first stem is placed.

Whether you’re looking to expand your installation skills, embrace more sustainable practices, or challenge your creative process, this master class offers a blend of practical experience, thoughtful discussion, and hands-on practice, empowering you to create with clarity, purpose, and confidence.
