This class offers a special opportunity to tour a section of Longwood not open to the public, but that is actively managed for biological and ecological diversity, as Abbondi is a wonderful place to see birds, habitats, large specimen trees, and diversity of plants that attract a wide variety of species. Along with seeing some special birds in bright breeding colors, learn identification tips including songs and calls. Finally, see what types of trees and shrubs various birds are using in order to get ideas for your home garden to make it more “bird-friendly.”
