Explore the culture, care, and maintenance of aquatic plants, water gardens, and marginal plantings. Then, join us in the Waterlily Court and Conservatory for a unique and magical dining experience—where you can enjoy delicious selections as the night-blooming lilies begin to open. Dinner will be a full, seated experience. Start with light refreshments, gather for a buffet-style dinner, then enjoy tea and dessert afterward.

Tim Jennings, and Suzanne Boom
Tim Jennings is a graduate of Longwood's Professional Horticulture Program and is a specialty grower and one of the curators for Longwood's waterlily displays. Jennings has taught several popular water gardening courses at Longwood and enjoys sharing what he does in a way that is practical and user-friendly for homeowners.
Suzanne Boom is a senior horticulturist maintaining Longwood’s aquatic plant displays in the West Conservatory and Waterlily Court. She is also one of the curators of Longwood’s waterlily collection and the president of the International Waterlily and Water Gardening Society. Boom was a home water gardener before she made it her profession working at a retail aquatic plant nursery, where she enjoyed sharing her love for water plants and helped many homeowners build or maintain their backyard pond or water garden.
