Finding the right plants that add late summer interest to your landscape—as well as provide valuable pollen and nectar reserves for native pollinators—can be a challenge. In this online, livestream class, join Carrie Wiles of North Creek Nursery as she shares how to create an abundant landscape that lasts from late summer through the winter months by utilizing plants with late-season blooms, intriguing textures, and benefits for native pollinators. Learn tips and techniques for both aboveground and belowground, and discover a myriad of plants that will work well in your landscape … and then create your own home native garden with plants delivered right to your door.

Registration includes 50 landscape-ready plugs shipped to your home in late September or early October, before the threat of frost and just in time to root in for the winter. The selection of plants will provide late-summer interest and many of them will carry their appeal into the winter months.

Due to shipping limitations, registration is only eligible for people in the following states: PA, NJ, DE, CT, MD, VA, and Washington DC.

The course also includes three-month access to the recording of the presentation.

This course counts as a horticulture technique requirement of the Certificate in Ornamental Horticulture.
