When the weather turns cold and the days get short, we usually think of harvesting the bounty of produce from our gardens, but there’s something else you should be harvesting this time of year: seeds!  Along with Happy Cat Farm owner and gardener Tim Mountz, learn why saving seed is important for both the environment and for our communities, and how to set yourself up for seed-saving success. Explore plant selection, seed saving techniques, and how careful saving can help adapt seeds to your garden. You’ll even get a chance to try your hand at seed-saving during the class.

Your registration fee includes admission to the Gardens on the day of the class.
