It’s hard to think of a treat that says “classic” as vividly as the famed banana split.
Join floral designer and instructor Melissa Palmer as she leads you in creating your own beautiful floral arrangement inspired by the iconic colors of this elaborate confection. Start with an introduction to the dessert itself, its history, and the many variations enjoyed today. Then launch into your own inspired floral creation that’ll look good enough to eat—you’ll even create a pineapple flower out of a real pineapple to incorporate into your design. Each student will receive a small banana split to enjoy and finish class with a fully realized floral design to take home. Bon Appetit!
