Join us to learn how to keep your tools of the trade in tip-top shape, just like you would your garden!
Explore the basic types of garden tools, as well as different tool materials and qualities that a home gardener might need. To ensure you're properly equipped to help your garden thrive, take a deep dive into the caring of garden tools—including supplies for care and maintenance, disassembly and reassembly, cleaning, sharpening, oiling, and wood care.
Students are welcome to bring two or three of their own hand tools—pruners, loppers, hedge shears, shovels, and more—from home for an opportunity for hands-on practice.
