Fall in love—and take on a rewarding challenge—with America’s national flower, the rose. Many gardeners are intimidated by roses because of their reputation for being difficult to grow.
However, through breeding efforts, sustainable growing practices, and trials for pest and disease resistance, roses are ready for a renaissance. Discuss rose selections for lower maintenance, sustainable practices, and tips for maintaining your roses throughout the seasons. Head out into our Rose Garden for a demonstration of proper pruning and training techniques. You’ll leave with the knowledge you need to keep your own healthy rose garden.
