Fee includes all-day admission to the Gardens on the day the class is onsite.

Registrations may be cancelled up to two weeks before the event, and your registration fee, less a $30 processing fee, will be refunded. Please note that refunds are not available for programs moved to scheduled inclement weather dates.

Then, enjoy an in-person photography session—starting before we open to guests—with Froio throughout our Gardens. Cap off the experience with an online feedback session where you’ll grow your knowledge on this artistic medium even more.

Location

Onsite at Longwood Gardens with additional online sessions.

This program will take place partially or entirely outdoors. Please dress for the weather and wear footwear suited for walking on uneven paths and through wet areas.

Instructor

Michael Froio

Michael Froio is a photographer and educator in the Philadelphia metropolitan area. Much of his work focuses on understanding the built environment and how history creates a compelling narrative in photography. Froio's commissioned work includes architectural, railroad, and heavy industry documentation and research projects in various mediums, including large format film, digital stills, videos, and time-lapse photography. His work resides in noted collections, including the Library of Congress, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Woodmere Museum, and the Camden County Arts Bank collection.
