Begin in our Ornamental Kitchen Garden as Longwood Senior Horticulturist Alex Correia teaches you how to successfully grow vibrant, flavorful edible flowers at home. Then, gather in our state-of-the-art 1906 kitchen for an interactive cooking lesson with Chef Greg Murkowicz, transforming freshly harvested blossoms into stunning seasonal dishes. You’ll leave inspired and ready to bring color, fragrance, and creativity to your own plate.

Longwood Senior Horticulturist Alex Correia has a background in organic agriculture and is trained in ornamental horticulture at Longwood Gardens. Vegetable growing was her first gardening love, and she enjoys incorporating edibles and cut flowers into ornamental displays.
