No meal is as satisfying as the one that comes from your garden, and growing your own food doesn’t have to be on a large scale!
Join Longwood Horticulturist Alex Correia for this hands-on workshop to create your own productive edible garden in a small container—no plot of land required! Whether you want to convert an existing garden bed, install raised beds, or plant some patio containers—and even if you’re working with a small or urban space—you can create a thriving garden with the right location and soil preparation. Along the way, learn how Longwood creates edible gardens in containers. You’ll leave with your own edible container to nurture and snack on at home.
