Discover the fascinating world of orchid exhibiting in this hands-on class designed for both beginners and enthusiasts.
Learn the fundamentals of orchid care, including watering, light, fertilization, and grooming techniques that help plants look their best on the show bench. You'll also explore the basics of orchid judging, exhibition preparation, and what judges look for in award-worthy specimens.
During the first class meeting, each participant will receive an orchid to take home and cultivate through the season. Then, return in February to refine your plant and care before the exciting opportunity to enter your plant in the Philadelphia Flower Show.
