Join us for a uniquely relaxed evening for our Members, with a special focus on those with sensory sensitivities.
Delivering a fun, highly interactive experience for all, Grammy Award-winner Dan Zanes and Haitian-American jazz vocalist and music therapist Claudia Zanes team up with singer Tyree Austin to create a sensory-friendly inclusive experience at 6:30 pm.
Afterward, experience a sensory-friendly Illuminated Fountain Performance, Journey to Oz, at 8:15 pm. This show features the same spectacular artistry with lower audio volume and smooth lighting transitions to minimize strobing effects; it will not feature fire effects, for a more comfortable experience.
Guests of all ages are welcome to enjoy this calmer environment. Quiet areas will be available throughout the evening in the Peirce-du Pont House Library and The Fountain Room.
Reservations are required (except for Gardens Premium Members and Innovators) to ensure a calm, positive experience for all guests.
Members’ guests are welcome but must be accompanied by a Member. Guests not included in a Membership require Admission tickets. Complimentary Guest Tickets may be used. Chairs are provided in the Open Air Theatre. Members may set up their own chairs or blankets in the Main Fountain Garden, beginning at 5:00 pm. The Cafe will be open until 8:00 pm and concessions will be available in the Rose Arbor from 5:00–7:30 pm. Member discounts cannot be applied to alcohol purchases.
