Fee includes all-day admission to the Gardens for one youth and one adult (19+) on the day of the class.

This workshop is an independent youth learning experience, designed for ages 9-14. Workshops are staffed by Longwood Educators; individuals with educational expertise that possess the required clearances. One accompanying adult (19+) may enjoy the Gardens during the 90-minute workshop.

Registrations may be canceled up to one week before the event, and your registration fee, less a $10 processing fee, will be refunded.

Celebrate Valentine’s Day with creativity and nature in this hands-on workshop designed especially for youth ages 9–14! Participants will craft a whimsical mobile using air plants—no soil needed!—nestled in bubble-inspired hanging planters, along with string and natural materials. Festive heart-themed accents will be available to personalize each creation. While designing, participants will also learn how to care for their air plants at home and explore the fascinating world of these unique plants.
