Avid hikers know that great trails lead to great days out in the beauty of nature.
If you’re a homeowner interested in building your own trail through any sized landscape, then this opportunity will lead you down the garden path of trail building. Join Larry Knutson of Penn Trails as he instructs you in choosing a site, assessing the tenets of trail sustainability, and the rules to live by in outlining your trail system. This three-hour session will cover the planning concepts that are crucial to understand before taking on a trail project. This “how to plan” workshop will participants with working knowledge that is key to engaging a sustainable trail project with professional designers, contractors, volunteer entities, or your own resources.
