Jenson Cheng
Jenson Cheng is a Taiwanese-born Asian American artist whose work spans sculpture, painting, and traditional Eastern techniques. Trained in Sumi-e (ink brush painting) with Master Lee Qimao (李奇茂), Cheng brings together classical Eastern artistic traditions with contemporary applications. For over two decades, he has shared his expertise throughout the Philadelphia region, teaching at institutions including Cheltenham Art Center, Wayne Art Center, and Perkins Center for the Arts. Cheng's approach to Sumi-e emphasizes both traditional techniques and the mindful, meditative aspects of this ancient art form.
