Join The Flower Sommelier Christopher Sheridan to explore the technique of planting spring bulbs “lasagna-style”—layering a succession of flowers bulbs to optimize planting space, maximize bloom time, support emerging pollinators, and showcase a variety of fragrances, colors, and textures.
While learning about planting depths and bulbs' preferred conditions, explore how many spring ephemerals can sequentially share the same square foot in your garden and pots. Plant your own layered heirloom bulb garden in a container during this class and learn how to replicate the planting style at home in suitable soils, window boxes, and more. Take home a recommended cultivar list and expert planting recipes just in time for spring bulb planting season.
