Green Wall

Designed to resemble a lush green jungle, at 14 feet high and 300 feet long, our Green Wall is the largest in North America.

Don’t miss this ferny glen tucked in the corner of the East Conservatory.

History of this Garden

Designed by famed British landscape architect Kim Wilkie and installed in 2010, the idea for the Green Wall started as a sketch on a cocktail napkin. Its approximately 33,000 plants provide oxygen and clean dust from the air.
