As Director of Land Stewardship and Ecology, Paul and his team are responsible for conserving and restoring native habitats and biodiversity across Longwood’s natural lands, which include nearly 1,000 acres of forests, grasslands, riparian areas, and agricultural fields between Longwood Gardens and Longwood at Granogue. As a scientist, he is passionate about applied ecological research that informs sound management practices at Longwood and beyond. He is committed to ensuring that Longwood’s natural lands help promote the recovery of rare, threatened, and endangered species, while also becoming more adapted and resilient to a changing climate.
