Led by Longwood educators, our educator-guided field trips encourage grades 9-12 students to discover hidden horticulture interests and possible career paths, as well as help improve well-being through nature-inspired activities.

The clock is ticking during this escape room-style experience where students explore the various professional careers that work together to keep Longwood running. Acting as Longwood’s Board of Directors, students complete a series of challenges by applying classroom knowledge to find success and gain perspective on the different roles that exist in a public garden.

Benefits of Nature
Get inspired by nature and help students improve overall well-being by disconnecting from technology and exploring the senses through activities such as journaling and creating a DIY scent sachet. Students will leave with tips and tricks that can be used anywhere to promote good mental health.
